Affinity Plus Named One of Minnesota’s Top Workplaces

Star Tribune recognized Affinity Plus with a ranking of #5 on the list of large companies.

Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union (Affinity Plus) has been named one of the Top 200 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune for the sixth year in a row. Affinity Plus made the #5 ranking on the list of large companies for the second year in a row – six years overall as a Top Workplace. In addition, Dave Larson also received special recognition with an award for “Top Leadership” in a large company.

“Our employees strive every day to make Affinity Plus the best place our members have ever banked - helping people who want a stronger connection with a financial partner focused on their needs,” said Dave Larson, President and CEO of Affinity Plus. “That energy and spirit is contagious, but it requires a strong community of trust and commitment.” I’m thrilled that employees continue to recognize Affinity Plus as that employer of choice – and a Top Workplace.”

Top Workplaces recognizes the most-progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 124,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.

The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 5,000 companies were invited to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.

Star Tribune CEO and Publisher Steve Grove said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”
