New Hires

  • Redwood Credit Union has hired Louis Jenkins Jr. as vice president of sales and service. In his new role, he’ll provide leadership, guidance, and oversight of organizational service delivery, ensuring exceptional member service across the credit union.

  • United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Adele Garcia Director of Product Development and Laura Campbell Director of Fraud Operation as based in Michigan. In this position, Garcia will be responsible for the management of United’s deposit loan, and ancillary products for members, businesses and public entities. She will also establish a roadmap and strategy for products and services based on the organization’s business plan and financial targets.

  • Texas Trust Credit Union named David Garza as Vice President of Marketing. Garza brings more than 15 years experience to the $1.8 billion credit union. “Having worked in missions, ministry, and business, David has a unique perspective about how to relate to people and engage them,” said Fred Trusty, Senior Vice President of Marketing. “His significant skills in data analytics and digital marketing, and his technology expertise, will enable us to further strengthen our digital capabilities in all aspects of marketing and public relations.”

Appointments

  • The Corporate Central Board of Directors unanimously selected Angela Hanson, President/CEO of Heartland Credit Union based in Madison, WI to fill the vacant position, following the recent retirement of Sally Dischler.

  • Peggy Esparza, CFO of Texas Trust Credit Union, was named one of the top 25 Most Powerful Women in credit unions by American Banker. The publication’s inaugural listing evaluated women in leadership roles from credit unions across the country who are leading their organizations through times of rapid and unprecedented change.
