MyUSA Credit Union, the Miami Valley cooperative focused on building the strongest communities possible through financial education, is joining forces with the City of Kettering, Partners for Healthy Youth, Kettering Schools and Kettering Health to provide fun, financial education games. MyUSA team members will be on-site to help residents understand their key financial health numbers during this summer’s Community Hot Dog Roasts.

The events will take place from 5:30pm – 7pm on July 27 at Polen Farm, August 3 at Kettering Recreation Complex, and August 8 at Habitat Environmental Center & Southdale Park.

All are sponsored by the City of Kettering and will include the following opportunities:

  • Enjoy a free hot dog dinner & free Kona Ice

  • Benefit from Kettering Health screenings & fun interactive booths

  • Meet with  Principals, School Counselors and Resource Officers from Kettering Schools

  • Complete School Paperwork with On-Site Chromebooks

  • Meet staff members and officials from various City of Kettering departments

  • Understand key financial health numbers and learn how to achieve your goals with MyUSA Credit Union

MyUSA’s friendly team members will be on-site to explain key financial numbers like your credit score, debt to income ratio and more. We’ll also discuss how we work with individual members to provide assistance with budgeting, debt management and reaching long-term financial goals. We encourage area residents to stop by and visit with us to learn more about how MyUSA can help you and schedule an appointment to discuss your unique situation with us in more detail.

“We’re here to help Ohioans chart a path forward towards a stronger financial future,” says Kendrick Walker, Vice President of Marketing for MyUSA Credit Union. “Participating in community events like these is just one example of how MyUSA is going all in on financial education.”

Beyond the Community Hot Dog Roasts, everyone in the Greater Miami Valley is also encouraged to utilize MyUSA’s free financial education resources available at myusacu.com/financial-education/. Our team is dedicated to providing our members and our community with the tools needed to make smart financial decisions.
