North Island Credit Union’s Escondido branch and the Escondido Art Association recently welcomed local officials, artists and community members for a festive holiday event celebrating local arts and culture. The event was held in the credit union’s Community Room, which displays a rotating collection of artworks by local artists in partnership with the Escondido Art Association.

The party was a warm and welcoming gathering, with attendees enjoying seasonal refreshments, lively conversation and the opportunity to connect with local artists. Local officials, including Escondido Mayor Dane White and Public Art Commissioner Carol Rogers, were in attendance, underscoring the collaborative commitment to fostering strong community relationships and supporting local culture.

“The annual EAA holiday event is always a member favorite. This time of year is best shared with friends, old and new, and our Team so proud and delighted to call the North Island Credit Union our new friends,” said Escondido Art Association President Tokeli Baker.

"We are thrilled to continue working with the Escondido Art Association and supporting the incredible artists in our area," said North Island Credit Union President/CEO Steve O’Connell. "This holiday celebration is not just about bringing people together, but also about honoring the importance of the arts in our community and the role it plays in enriching our lives."

The event featured a special showcase of artwork in the credit union’s Community Room from Escondido Art Association members, highlighting the vibrant creativity and talent within the community. As part of the credit union’s commitment to supporting its community, the Escondido branch features a 1,700-square-foot Community Room for local organizations to hold their events and meetings at no charge.
