On Tap Credit Union Supports Local Community with Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Efforts and Blood Drive
On Tap Credit Union, a leading financial cooperative in the local community, is proud to announce its continued commitment to giving back through recent volunteer initiatives, including a team build with Habitat for Humanity and a successful employee-led blood drive. These efforts reflect the credit union’s ongoing dedication to supporting the communities it serves.
Habitat for Humanity Partnership
On Tap Credit Union employees recently participated in a Habitat for Humanity build, contributing time and energy to help provide safe and affordable housing for families in need. A group of dedicated team members rolled up their sleeves to assist in constructing homes, working side-by-side with Habitat for Humanity volunteers and future homeowners. This effort is part of the credit union’s broader goal of giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that make a meaningful impact.
“Habitat for Humanity’s mission aligns perfectly with our values,” said Tracie Wilcox, President and CEO at On Tap Credit Union. “As a credit union, we believe in the power of community and cooperation, and we are honored to help families achieve their dream of homeownership.”
Blood Drive Success
In addition to its work with Habitat for Humanity, On Tap Credit Union also hosted a blood drive in partnership with Vitalant, where employees and members of the community came together to donate blood. The event was a resounding success, collecting enough blood to help save lives and support local hospitals in their ongoing need for blood supplies.
“The support we saw from our employees and the community during the blood drive was truly inspiring,” said Verna Kay, VP of Cultural Stewardship. “Giving blood is one of the simplest ways we can make a direct, life-saving impact, and we’re thrilled with the turnout.”
A Commitment to Community
At the heart of On Tap Credit Union’s mission is a commitment to the community and improving the lives of its members. The credit union’s volunteer efforts go beyond financial services to make a difference in areas that matter most to its members and local residents.
On Tap Credit Union will continue to actively support causes like Habitat for Humanity, local blood drives, and other charitable initiatives in the years to come.
“We are more than just a financial institution; we are a community partner,” added Tracie. “Our employees are passionate about giving back, and we will continue to look for ways to make a positive impact in the neighborhoods where we live and work.”
