PeoplesChoice Credit Union Signs New Ten-Year Agreement with Synergent to Host Jack Henry’s Symitar Core Processing Solution

Credit union also extends terms for other key product solutions

Synergent® is pleased to announce that PeoplesChoice CU has signed a new ten-year agreement with Synergent for hosted Jack Henry™ Symitar® core processing. In addition, the credit union has agreed to a new five-year term for Synergent to deliver additional service solutions through Jack Henry, including iPay Consumer Bill Pay™, Opening Act™, and Early Warning®.

“Signing an agreement for ten years is not a decision we made lightly,” shared Luke Labbe, CEO at PeoplesChoice CU. “But for us, the choice was clear. Synergent is already an extension of our team, and they offer the products and solutions our members need – all under one roof! We are pleased to extend our agreement and strengthen our partnership with them.”

In addition to Jack Henry’s Suite of Services, PeoplesChoice CU signed a five-year agreement with Synergent for both debit card services and Synergent's Integrated In-House Credit Card Program, a credit card solution that fully integrates Fiserv’s credit card gateway program with the Symitar core, resulting in centralized card program management. This solution will offer PeoplesChoice CU and its members real-time transaction processing and posting, as well as fraud risk management.

PeoplesChoice CU also will access several other product solutions through Synergent. The credit union signed a five-year agreement for check processing, marketing services, statement processing, and Wycom laser check printing.

“Our team takes great pride in knowing PeoplesChoice CU has faith in what Synergent offers and can bring to the table,” shared Scott Johnsen, Chief Relationship Officer at Synergent. “A decades-long agreement demonstrates how closely we are aligned with one another and reflects what I believe is the Synergent difference.”
