Reliant Credit Union recently donated $25,000 to the Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity, a contribution that will provide crucial support for the organization's mission of building affordable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods in the Greater Rochester area. The check presentation took place on Friday, March 15, emphasizing Reliant's commitment to making a positive impact in the areas it serves.
Pamela Heald, President & CEO of Reliant Credit Union, was joined by credit union staff and board members in presenting the donation to representatives from the Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity. The contribution will be used to build a house that will help a local family achieve stability and independence.
“Building stronger communities is not just a passion, but also a commitment. Reliant Credit Union is proud to continue our support for the Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity, an organization whose efforts mirror so closely the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people,’” said Pamela Heald, Reliant’s President & CEO. “Their work brings people together to build homes and futures and allow families to achieve more.”
