Members receive over $125,000.00 in interest rebates and bonus dividends

United Community Credit Union recently paid its members over $125,000 in interest rebates and bonus dividends in the form of deposits to their savings on March 15, 2024. The Loyalty Bonus was issued to those who paid interest on personal, vehicle, and home loans, or who earned dividends during 2023.

According to CEO Sarah Distin, "As a not-for-profit cooperative, we are always looking for ways to return value to our members. We do this by offering better-than-market rates and lower fees. This year, we had the opportunity to pay a cash bonus to our borrowers and savers, which put money directly back into our members' pockets. We also offered our savers two high yield CD specials that were very competitive in the marketplace. These are just a few of the many financial benefits of being a member of UCCU and our way of expressing gratitude to our members for their loyalty and continued support. We are also investing in our membership by opening a new branch at the convenient location of 36th & Columbus Road in Quincy."
