Wescom Announces Senior Management Changes to Support Growth Initiatives in 2024

Wescom Credit Union, one of the largest community credit unions in California, has implemented senior management changes recently to support its continued growth plans in the year ahead.

“One of Wescom’s greatest strengths as an organization, perhaps our number one strength, is the caliber of our team,” reflected Darren Williams, President/CEO at Wescom. “I believe these adjustments in how our senior team is leveraged will position us optimally, not only for the size and complexity of Wescom today, but into the future.”

Some of the organizational changes within Wescom at this time include:

  • Keith Pipes, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, broadens his oversight to include the Branch Administration and Remote Service Delivery groups.

  • Joseph Pellissery, Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer, expands his role as he becomes Chairman of the Wescom Resources Group (WRG) Board.

  • Carina Hollis, Senior Vice President/General Counsel, continues to be responsible for Legal Affairs and Risk Management and is now also overseeing Human Resources, also assuming administrative oversight of Internal Audit.

  • Melissa Pederson moved from her prior position as Senior Vice President, Administration, to become Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer upon the retirement of Chuck Thomas at the beginning of 2024.

  • Ashley White, has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer. She will head up an entirely new division encompassing Marketing, Partner Development and Business Analytics.
