LGE Community Credit Union awards $32,500 in scholarships to local high school students

LGE Community Credit Union is proud to announce the winners of the 2023 LGE Community Credit Union Scholarship and the Positive Athlete LGE Extra Credit Award. These awards reflect the credit union’s commitment to education and are designed to support high school students from Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas, Fulton, and Paulding counties.

The following high school seniors were awarded a $2,500 scholarship through the 2023 LGE Community Credit Union Scholarship Program:

  • Sarah Brooks, Woodstock High School

  • Phylicia Corry, Georgia Connections Academy

  • Taylor Couey, Sprayberry High School

  • Myles Forristall, Cartersville High School

  • Canaan Green, North Springs High School

  • Savannah Jefferson, Milton High School

  • Cameron Morani, Paulding County High School

  • Megan Paschall, Kell High School

  • Sophia Pigo, East Paulding High School

  • Summer McRoy, Cherokee High School

  • Camber Wallace, Woodland High School

The following high school student-athletes received the Positive Athlete LGE Extra Credit Award and were awarded a $1,000 scholarship:

  • Kieran Charles, South Paulding High School

  • Emma Elizabeth Hudkins, Blessed Trinity Catholic High School

  • Foster Johnson, Campbell High School

  • Emma Segars, Woodland High School

  • Cassidy Tanner, Creekview High School
