Addition Financial Credit Union Extends Central FL Healthcare Support Through Seminole State College Nursing Program Partnership

Addition Financial Credit Union expanded its commitment to Central Florida’s healthcare industry this month in announcing a partnership with Seminole State College of Florida’s Nursing program, which has big expansion plans of its own.

The partnership between Addition Financial and Seminole State College that dates to 2012 now extends to the community college’s growing nursing program, thanks to a $10,000 support investment by the credit union. The nursing program will be expanding in the coming years, as Seminole State College has purchased additional property adjacent to the Altamonte Springs campus.

The areas of partnership include:

  • Addition Financial is the preferred credit union of Seminole State College;

  • An Addition Financial branch on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus;

  • A Seminole State College branded debit card which donates funds to the Foundation for Seminole State College for each purchase on behalf of Addition Financial;

  • Financial education for Seminole State students, including the nursing program that welcomes 500 new students every semester.

“Addition Financial is excited about growing our longstanding relationship with Seminole State College,” said Richard Barbari, Community Engagement Manager with Addition Financial Credit Union. “By partnering with their nursing program, we will provide their students the resources and tools they need to reach their financial goals. Not only does this new partnership deepen our support of Seminole State but also shows our continued focus in supporting the healthcare industry in Central Florida.”

Along with Seminole State College, Addition Financial also partners with the University of Central Florida’s College of Nursing and HCA Florida Osceola Hospital to grow its commitment to providing financial education and support to Central Florida’s rapidly growing healthcare industry.
