Advia Credit Union Hires New Chief Financial Officer, Dustin Adams

Advia Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of Dustin Adams as its new Chief Financial Officer. This position became available following the transition of Jeff Fielder, Advia’s former CFO, into his new role as Advia’s President & CEO in Fall of 2022.

“We are very excited to introduce Dustin Adams as our new Chief Financial Officer,” said Jeff Fielder about the new hire. “Dustin will be overseeing our Accounting, Finance, Analytics, and Risk Management teams. As a member of our Executive Leadership team, he will be instrumental in developing Advia’s ongoing strategy and vision. We continually look to innovate our financial services while maintaining the highest level of data integrity and financial soundness,” said Fielder.

Dustin Adams added, “I am excited to join the Advia team! My primary goal as CFO is to ensure Advia maintains a strong financial position and manages risks well. In an industry that is constantly changing, making good, strategic decisions is important for our future growth. We need to make the right decisions that balance the needs of our members, team members, and the credit union.”

Adams holds his MBA, with a focus in Finance, from Indiana University and a BS, with a focus in Actuarial Science and Statistics, from Purdue University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and inactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Personally, Dustin enjoys camping, kayaking, and hiking. He is married and has a six-year-old son. Adams will oversee teams throughout all of Advia’s regions and will be located at Advia’s headquarters located in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
