Affinity Federal Credit Union Recognized Among Top Credit Unions in New Jersey and New York
Affinity has been named on the 2024 Forbes list of America’s Best Credit Unions for both states, underscoring the organization’s commitment to its members and providing a holistic wellbeing experience
Affinity Federal Credit Union (“Affinity”), a member-based, federally insured, full-service financial institution, has been recognized on the Forbes list of “America’s Best Credit Unions in Each State,” earning second place in New Jersey and sixth place in New York for 2024.
The ranking is based on a survey of consumers, and the resulting list recognizes the top credit unions for their community-oriented banking experience and commitment to offering comprehensive services and support for their members.
“At Affinity, we pride ourselves on the unique experience we offer for our members,” said Kevin Brauer, Affinity Federal Credit Union CEO. “We believe that every person contributes to making a difference in our communities, and our members and employees live up to our mission of ‘people helping people’ in all that they do. We are proud that our commitment to this philosophy creates a positive experience for our members, and we are honored to be included on such a prominent industry list that truly captures the member experience.”
The list is developed in partnership between Forbes and market research firm Statista and surveyed approximately 26,000 U.S. residents. Participants were asked to rate credit unions at which they have or previously have had a checking/saving account, as well as evaluate them on specific criteria, including trust, branch and digital services, customer experience, financial advice and the mandated terms and conditions of banking. The ranking also considered publicly available online text reviews and ratings in its analysis.
Affinity offers a range of financial services, support and solutions for its members, including personal and business banking, investing and wellbeing services. The organization’s offering is rooted in the five pillars of wellbeing, which empower its members to improve their overall quality of life and financial confidence.
“We recognize that we serve more than just our members' financial needs, and we strive to be a resource in all aspects of their wellbeing,” added Brauer. “To accomplish this, we need to maintain our members’ confidence and earn their trust. Our goal is to make an impact for our members and our community, and we are incredibly proud of how our efforts drive success for our members.”
