Air Academy Credit Union Chooses PSCU for Debit and Credit Processing Services and Support
PSCU is proud to announce its partnership with Air Academy Credit Union (AACU) to provide comprehensive debit and credit card processing services and support.
Established in 1955 and headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, AACU is a dedicated financial partner for its approximately 50,000 members, including local businesses, first responders, healthcare professionals, students and educators, in addition to active and retired military service members and their families. With a mission of improving the lives of members and its communities, AACU is committed to exceeding the expectations of anyone who comes their way, with custom and caring financial solutions.
AACU initiated a vendor review in the summer of 2022 to identify a card processing solutions provider demonstrating technological leadership and best-in-class service. Continuing the evaluation process into 2023, the credit union wanted a partner large enough to leverage industry relationships and ensure long-term security. PSCU emerged as the ideal choice by offering industry-leading technologies, deep relationships with AACU's current providers and a strong reputation for collaborative partnerships.
“A proven track record of seamless collaboration with credit unions and existing vendors was non-negotiable for us, and PSCU emerged as a trusted partner among our current online banking and core providers," said Air Academy Credit Union Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel Richard F. Vaughn, Jr. "The CUSO’s technology behind its integration is industry-leading, and the consultative approach aligns with our commitment to delivering personal and exceptional member experiences. Throughout the process, we have been consistently impressed with their team’s expertise and responsiveness – and we are excited about the possibilities this partnership will deliver.”
PSCU will begin providing credit and debit card processing support and solutions to AACU’s members in October 2024. The credit union currently holds more than $895 million in assets.
"We are honored to partner with Air Academy Credit Union, a financial institution deeply rooted in its community and dedicated to the financial wellness of its members,” said PSCU Chief Revenue Officer and EVP Scott Wagner. “As we welcome AACU into our cooperative, we look forward to leveraging PSCU’s technology and expertise to support the credit union’s goals and deliver exceptional card processing capabilities to its members."
