AKUVO Launches #Just1Post Campaign to Support the Via Stella Foundation Aiding Ukrainian Refugees in Poland

AKUVO has announced a $10,000 fundraising campaign that will benefit the Via Stella Foundation, a Polish and American credit union initiative that provides aid to Ukrainian refugees.

The technology organization that specializes in collections and credit risk became involved with Via Stella after AKUVO CEO Jay Mossman heard Rafal Matusiak, president of Poland’s credit union association and Via Stella CEO, speak at an Underground Collision event. Now, AKUVO will donate up to $10,000 to the Foundation with the help of credit union professionals and social media.

Supporting the campaign is simple. For every LinkedIn post or repost that mentions the Via Stella Foundation and includes the hashtag #Just1Post, AKUVO will donate $10 until the $10,000 goal is reached. To automatically generate a post that includes information about Via Stella and the required fundraising #Just1Post hashtag, visit www.akuvo.com and click on the banner.

The Via Stella Foundation provides acute medical essentials such as first aid, sleeping bags, flashlights and ambulances to Ukrainian refugees in Poland. The group also provides long-term financial stability for refugees in cooperation with Polish credit unions, including financial assistance for rent payments, support in acquiring school supplies and healthcare.

“Giving back to the community is an important part of the ‘people helping people’ philosophy,” Mossman said. “We are lucky to live in a free society and work in the credit union community. I challenge everyone to support this global credit union effort in any way they can.”
