American Eagle Financial Credit Union Sponsors Salvation Army’s 34th Annual WTIC Holiday Store

AEFCU is seeking member and employee donations of toys, nonperishable food, new clothing and toiletries

This holiday season American Eagle Financial Credit Union (AEFCU) is proud to announce the continuation of its 20-year tradition of sponsoring the Salvation Army’s Annual Holiday Store.

This year’s Salvation Army's 34th Holiday Store is an annual event that provides a free shopping experience to people in need.

American Eagle team members will be present, accepting donations of toys, nonperishable food, new clothing and toiletries on:

 Thursday, December 21, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

o Homewood Suites, 65 Glastonbury Boulevard, Glastonbury.

“We always look forward to being a part of the Holiday Store and participating in this amazing effort,” said Howard Brady, AEFCU President and CEO. “The Holiday Store is a ‘one-stop shop’ that helps countless families experience the joy of the holidays, and we are honored to help make that happen by engaging our employees and members in giving back this holiday season.”

The Holiday Store brings people and businesses together for their community during the holidays. American Eagle continues to support this event because of the impact it has on the people they are dedicated to serving.

“When I was younger, my mother was a single mom making ends meet. I remember one Christmas being the recipient of donations from the Salvation Army and I won’t ever forget that year and the happiness it brought to me and my mother,” said Jessica Sanchez, a Loan Phone Center Representative at American Eagle Financial Credit Union. “I am happy to be part of an organization that encourages team members to volunteer. This experience has made me grateful for what I have and I’m proud that I can give back to others now.”
