CCUA’s New Hampshire Credit Unions Raise $200,000 for Make-A-Wish NH, Surpassing $3.8 Million in Total Donations
The Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA)’s New Hampshire Credit Unions have reached a remarkable milestone in their social responsibility efforts, supporting Make-A-Wish New Hampshire with a total surpassing $3.8 million raised. This achievement includes this year’s impressive $200,000 donation, presented at the annual golf tournament held on June 13th.
Throughout the year, New Hampshire’s credit unions engaged in various fundraising activities, including candy and calendar sales, a radiothon, a holiday auction, and culminating with the Richard D. Mahoney charitable golf tournament. These initiatives reflect the credit unions' deep commitment to social responsibility and their community.
“Our New Hampshire credit unions have once again shown their dedication to transforming the lives of children in the Granite State. The funds raised this year will bring joy and hope to many deserving families,” said Ron McLean, President and CEO of the CCUA. “We are immensely proud of the collaborative spirit and generosity displayed by our member credit unions, exemplifying the true credit union difference.”
Over the past 27 years, New Hampshire’s credit unions have consistently supported Make-A-Wish New Hampshire, collectively raising more than $3.8 million. This substantial contribution has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of 13 credit unions serving over 800,000 members across the state.
“Our commitment to Make-A-Wish New Hampshire goes beyond just financial support; it’s about making a tangible difference in our communities,” said Brian Hughes, NH Committee Chair and CEO of Holy Rosary Credit Union. “The fundraising success is a testament to the unwavering dedication and generosity of our credit union members and staff. Together, we are creating moments of joy and hope that will last a lifetime.”
