Centra AVP Financial Inclusion Marco Dominguez Awarded Juntos Avanzamos Champion Award

Centra Credit Union’s Assistant Vice President of Financial Inclusion Marco Dominguez was recently awarded the Juntos Avanzamos Champion Award during America’s Credit Unions Governmental Affairs Conference. Juntos Avanzamos, meaning “together we advance,” is also a designation for credit unions committed to serving and empowering Hispanic, Latinx, and immigrant consumers.

“Marco truly embodies Centra’s vision of creating value for our Members, Team Members and Communities we serve,” Centra President and CEO Rick Silvers said. “This is a highly prestigious award presented by Inclusiv and truly showcases Marco’s dedication to a lifetime of making a difference.”

The award was presented to Marco on behalf of Inclusiv. Inclusiv works to ensure low- and moderate-income individuals and communities achieve financial independence by expanding access to safe and responsible financial products and services provided by credit unions.

“Juntos Avanzamos is an organization that really does a great job for the community,” Centra AVP Financial Inclusion Marco Dominguez said. “I am honored to have received this recognition because it recognizes not only the job that I do but recognizes the job all credit unions should do.”
