Central Willamette Credit Union Selects Luisa Herrera as Chief Experience Officer (CXO)

Central Willamette Credit Union is thrilled to announce the appointment of Luisa Herrera as the credit union’s new Chief Experience Officer (CXO). In this vital role, Herrera will oversee a range of key functions, including branch and service delivery, member engagement, operations, and wealth management. With her extensive experience and innovative approach, Herrera is poised to enhance collaboration and foster effective communication across all team members and departments at Central Willamette Credit Union. Her leadership will be instrumental in driving the credit union’s commitment to exceptional member experiences and operational excellence.

Throughout her extensive career, Luisa Herrera has gained a wealth of experience and leadership across diverse facets of financial institutions. Most recently, she served at a Fortune 500 company, where she spearheaded strategy development, operational enhancement, and program management within the underwriting department of one of the nation's largest insurance firms. Prior to that, she made significant contributions at one of Wisconsin's largest credit unions, where she excelled in expanding market penetration, particularly by engaging and serving Spanish-speaking members. Her visionary leadership in creating engaging and inclusive environments, enhancing member experiences, and fostering strong community partnerships distinguished her as a dedicated and effective professional in the credit union movement.
