Credit Union Network for Financial Literacy is pleased to announce that three distinguished credit unions—Armco Credit Union, Coastal Community Federal Credit Union, and Vacationland Federal Credit Union—have joined The Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy Program. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering financial literacy among young members through engaging and educational content.

Armco Credit Union, Butler, PA, a leader in financial education for youth, is enthusiastic about the new collaboration. Michele Jurysta, Marketing Manager at Armco Credit Union, stated, "Armco Credit Union is committed to teaching financial literacy from a young age. Partnering with the beloved Berenstain Bears enables us to better engage with children so they can have fun learning about money while developing lifelong skills."

Coastal Community Federal Credit Union, Galveston TX, is equally excited about the partnership. Angela Wilson, E-Branch Specialist at Coastal Community Federal Credit Union, commented, "Coastal Community Federal Credit Union is excited to partner with The Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy Program featuring its Cub Club for our youngest members, who are sure to benefit from the many useful money management tips the program has to offer. Pairing up with this program will allow us to continue providing financial literacy in a fun and effective way with the iconic Berenstain Bears family."

Vacationland Federal Credit Union, Sandusky OH, also joins in this initiative, bringing the total number of credit unions participating in The Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy Program to a new high. This expansion highlights the growing recognition of the importance of early financial education and the effectiveness of using beloved characters to convey essential life skills.

The Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy Program offers a range of resources and activities designed to teach children the basics of money management, saving, and responsible spending. By integrating these materials into their youth outreach efforts, credit unions can create a lasting impact on the financial habits and knowledge of future generations.

Credit Union Network for Financial Literacy is proud to support this initiative and looks forward to seeing the positive outcomes from these new partnerships. Together, we are building a financially literate future, one young saver at a time.
