Credit Unions Announce Promotions and Alliant SVP Recieves Top Broker and Lender Award

A few credit unions, including Robins Financial Credit Union and Greater Texas Credit Union have announced promotions to their leadership teams and an SVP from Alliant Credit Union has been recognized with a Top Broker and Lender award.

New Hires

BrightStar Credit Union is proud to announce Guy Petroro has joined the team as the new Senior Vice President of Lending. Petroro brings over 25 years of lending experience within the credit union and banking industries, specifically in the South Florida market, where he most recently worked with Dade County Federal Credit Union. For the last 15 years he has been in senior management positions with oversight in all aspects of lending. In his new role, Petroro will be responsible for managing and growing BrightStar’s mortgage loan, auto loan, commercial/business and consumer lending departments, as well as developing and executing strategic plans that meet financial goals of the organization and members’ needs.

Kinective announced the appointment of Keith Fujinaga as Chief Financial Officer. Fujinaga joins Kinective with over 15 years of experience in the technology sector, including leadership roles at a Big Four public accounting firm and Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft. Most recently, he served as CFO of Nintex, a SaaS technology company. Fujinaga’s extensive experience will be invaluable in leading the finance and accounting team, setting strategic financial directions, and driving the execution of business strategies to achieve Kinective’s goals.

Robins Financial Credit Union proudly announces the promotion of John Flanders to Vice President of Delivery Channels. In this new role, Flanders will provide a comprehensive approach to serving the members of the credit union, ensuring exceptional service and innovative solutions.

Robins Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Veronica Kelly to the position of Commercial Loan Administration Manager. Kelly brings with her more than 30 years of banking and management experience. She will be responsible for leading the credit union’s Commercial Loan Administration team, ensuring business members receive high-quality service and support.

Christina Gonzales of Kyle has been promoted to Branch Manager of the local office of Greater Texas Credit Union. Besides looking after members’ needs as Branch Manager, Gonzales will also be responsible for creating and establishing community relationships and initiating programs and projects where her team can serve and support the community as part of the credit union’s Greater Good initiative.

Member Access Processing (MAP) has announced the promotion of Nicki Lirot as Vice President, Relationship Management. Nicki joined MAP in 2023, bringing 23 years of experience in Banking, Card Processing, and Financial Technology. For the last 13 years, she has served as an advocate for credit unions in payments, specializing in building long-term relationships.

Kinective the promotion of Michael Ball to Executive Vice President of Marketing. Ball's career spans nearly three decades in banking and fintech, where he has been instrumental in driving company growth and go-to-market strategies. He has been with Kinective since its inception, previously serving as SVP of Markets and Strategy at IMM. Prior to IMM, Ball was President of Datastore, where he oversaw sales, marketing, operations, financial performance, and general business management. He has also held executive leadership roles at EMC/Documentum/Legato, SER Macrosoft, and the Federal Reserve Bank. His deep industry knowledge and strategic vision enable him to deliver on Kinective’s goals through innovative, customer-centric marketing strategies that drive brand growth and deepen customer relationships.

LBS Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce a promotion to its management team. Violet Stewart, formerly the branch manager at the credit union’s Lakewood office, has been promoted to vice president of branch operations. In her new role, Violet will be responsible for all seven of the credit union’s branch locations with the vice president/branch managers reporting directly to her.
