CU Alliance® and the Houston Chapter of Credit Unions Raise $38,609 for Charities and Educational Scholarships with Annual Golf Tournament.

CU Alliance®, a leading Credit Union Service Organization based in Houston, in partnership with the Houston Chapter of Credit Unions, proudly announces that $38,609 was raised at the Chapter’s Annual Golf Tournament for chapter charities and educational scholarships.

The Annual Golf Tournament, held on May 23rd at the Wildcat Golf Club in Houston, Texas, brought together credit union leaders, vendors, and preferred automobile dealers for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving. The event served as a vital platform to raise awareness and funds for local Houston charities and the CUSO’s Dream Educational Foundation.

Despite the tumultuous economic times, this year’s tournament garnered unwavering support from sponsors, participants, and donors. A total number of 144 enthusiastic golfers displayed their skills while demonstrating their commitment to positively impacting our community.

“This was the third year our CUSO was honored with the opportunity to facilitate the chapter’s annual charity event, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in this year’s golf tournament and to all the sponsors and donors who generously supported our causes,” said Adrian Dominguez, President, and CEO of CU Alliance. “Their contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of those served by the charities, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead to create lasting change.”

“The Houston Chapter of Credit Unions extends its sincerest gratitude to CU Alliance and its staff for their generous support and dedication in planning and pivotal role in raising funds for the event. Their commitment and belief in giving back were integral to the overwhelming success of the tournament.” Said Claudia Maldonado, SVP Branch Operations for AMOCO FCU and Vice Chairman of the Houston Chapter of Credit Unions.
