Day Air Credit Union Awards Two $1,000 Scholarships to Area Students

Day Air Credit Union is pleased to announce that Nathan Snizik and Regan Schrimpf are the recipients of Day Air’s 2023 Academic Scholarships. The Day Air Academic Scholarships are awarded annually to local students who demonstrate academic achievement and community involvement. Nathan Snizik, 2023 Carroll High School graduate and Valedictorian, will be attending The Ohio State University where he will be pursuing a degree in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics. Nathan was very active in Cross Country, Drama Club, as well as many other school organizations. Nathan was also the Founder of Nathan’s Playground Project, an organization that works with the Sandals Foundation to raise funds to build playgrounds and science labs for schools in the Caribbean. Regan Schrimpf, currently attending Miami University, is pursuing a degree in Primary and Special Education. As a 2021 graduate of Archbishop Alter High School, Regan excelled in academics and graduated with honors. Regan is now a full-time college student and participates on the Miami University Rowing Team. In her free time, Regan volunteers with Cinci Smiles, an organization that benefits kids in Cincinnati who have cancer. Through this organization, Regan is able to provide these kids with friendship, support, and various activities. “On behalf of Day Air Credit Union I want to congratulate not only the two recipients of this year’s scholarship - but all of the 2023 applicants - for all of their hard work and dedication to their academics and community volunteer efforts,” said Jannell Eichsteadt, Chief Experience Officer and SVP at Day Air. “We look forward to seeing what this next generation will do for our community.”
