Embold Credit Union Selects Li Jacobson as Chief Information Officer
Embold Credit Union has selected Li Jacobson as its new Chief Information Officer. She was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known leadership development firm that offers a broad range of solutions to help clients optimize their greatest assets - their people.
“We are thrilled to have Li Jacobson join our executive team at Embold Credit Union! Li brings exactly the energy and expertise needed to secure and scale Embold's technology infrastructure as we grow and help drive strategy for the next phase of our credit union's journey," says Aaron Goff, President & Chief Executive Officer of Embold Credit Union.
Jacobson has 20 years of technology leadership experience and has worked in complex global enterprises throughout her career. Prior to joining the credit union, she served as Vice President, Digital Transformation, Global Technology for NIKE, Inc. Jacobson has also served in various capacities, including Vice President, Information Technology, for Kohl’s Department Stores and previously worked for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
“I am incredibly excited to join Embold on this growth journey,” says Jacobson. “I’m looking forward to partnering with the executive team and the organization to drive digital transformation and leverage technology to better serve Embold’s members and the community.”
"Working with DDJ Myers was one of the most positive experiences I’ve had. They have a deep understanding of the organization, the role, and their client’s needs. Leah Gazaway was knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and dedicated. Her expertise and experience in finding tech talent was second to none," says Jacobson.
Jacobson and her husband, Bill, met in college and have been married for 22 years. They have two boys, Aiden, 15 and Riley, 13. Aiden plays lacrosse and Riley plays football. The whole family is comprised of adventurous eaters and travelers who love searching for the next food truck or hole in the wall eatery. They are somewhat new to Oregon so would love your recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. In her spare time, Jacobson loves to cook and attend her boys’ games.
