Georgia United Credit Union Announces New Chief Strategy Officer Adam Marlowe

As the organization’s new Chief Strategy Officer, Adam Marlowe is the next architect of Georgia United Credit Union’s member experience and the newest addition to its executive leadership team.

In this role Marlowe is responsible for driving Georgia United’s strategy, product development, marketing and member advocacy. He reports to President Laura King.

"With Adam’s strategic leadership, we’re prepared to innovate, grow, and better serve our community," said King. "In this critical role, he will drive corporate vision and strategy by overseeing strategic planning and analyzing the industry and market conditions."

Most recently Marlowe served as Chief Operating Officer for Powerco Federal Credit Union, and his career includes a 12-year stint at Georgia's Own Credit Union, where he served a variety of roles, including vice president of member experience and principal market development officer.

Marlowe's mantra is: "It's all about the member experience."

Beyond his local involvement, Marlowe has served the credit union movement in providing leadership as the vice chair of board of directors for CUES, board member of the Georgia Credit Union Marketing Council and was an innovator for the Filene Research Institute, all with a shared mission to improve consumer financial well-being.

Marlowe is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he also earned a master's degree in business administration and management.
