GTE FINANCIAL PROMOTES LISA CATHEY TO ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

GTE Financial continues to elevate its award-winning marketing team by promoting Lisa Cathey to Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Marketing. Previously the Engagement Marketing Manager, Cathey consistently demonstrates exceptional campaign development and strategic planning skills within the credit union marketing sector.

Cathey began her career with GTE Financial in 2012 as a Teller, quickly working her way up to Member Experience Officer, then Loan Officer. After a few years, she was promoted to Business Development Officer, followed by Community Financial Educator.

In each position, Cathey cultivated partnerships with local businesses developed financial literacy strategies and managed community development initiatives. As a product of her hard work and perseverance, Cathey advanced

to Engagement Marketing Manager in 2019, where she continued to contribute to the credit union’s member merchandising in Community Financial Centers and marketing success. These achievements played an essential role in marketing initiatives and led to her recent promotion to Assistant Vice President of Marketing.
