HFS Federal Credit Union Recognized on Forbes America’s Best-in-State Credit Unions 2024

HFS Federal Credit Union (HFS FCU) has once again been ranked as the Best Credit Union in Hawai’i on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions for 2024. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes as the result of a survey conducted by Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Approximately 26,000 U.S. residents were surveyed online and asked to name all credit unions where they have a checking/savings account. They were also asked to rate the credit unions in six areas: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services, Customer Services, and Financial Advice. HFS is honored and humbled to be recognized on this list for the sixth time in seven years as one of the top credit unions in Hawai’i.

Since 1937, HFS FCU has truly embodied the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People,” and has grown to be the largest credit union on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Economic challenges and ever-changing needs continue to motivate the credit union to offer more convenient services and benefits that bring financial wellness to members and the community.

“We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition from Forbes. This award is a testament to our dedicated employees providing our members with exceptional financial services at very competitive rates. We are grateful for our members’ continued trust and support that have allowed us to receive this award. Our commitment is exceeding their expectations and being their trusted financial partner for years to come.” -Nathan Abe, President-CEO.

HFS FCU extends a big mahalo to their members and the Big Island community for their support over the past 87 years. They share this honor with their members and partners in the community.
