LGE Community Credit Union announces long-term partnership with Cobb County Safety Village Foundation

LGE Community Credit Union has partnered with the Cobb County Safety Village Foundation, supporting and promoting safety education for Cobb County citizens. Through this long-term partnership, LGE becomes a major sponsor of the Cobb County Safety Village, a unique educational facility designed to teach Cobb County residents critical safety skills in a fun and interactive environment.

"We believe that safety education is essential for everyone, and we are proud to partner with the Cobb County Safety Village to help keep Cobb County residents safe.”

The Safety Village features reduced-scale buildings, streets, and traffic signals that replicate a real town representing the Cobb County community. Here, children and families can learn about fire safety, pedestrian safety, bicycle safety, and more through role-playing scenarios and hands-on exercises.

LGE will add its own building to the Safety Village’s bustling 8-acre property in late 2024. LGE leadership and members of the Safety Village Foundation board of directors kicked off the new partnership by hosting a groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of the new LGE building last month.
