LGE Community Credit Union celebrates grand opening of Sandy Springs branch

On Wednesday, Aug. 30, LGE Community Credit Union celebrated the official grand opening of its new Sandy Springs branch, located at 6615 Roswell Road, Suite 6637-A. The new location is LGE's 15th branch overall and third in north Fulton County.

The official grand opening celebration featured a ceremonial ribbon cutting with the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, with luxury charcuterie from The Board and Box, desserts from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and balloon decorations from Get It POPin.

Both Chris Leggett, president and CEO of LGE, and Kali Boatright, president and CEO of the Greater North Fulton Chamber, gave remarks about the new location. Notable members of the Sandy Springs community were also in attendance, including Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul, Sandy Springs Police Department Chief of Police Kenneth DeSimone, Sandy Springs Fire Department Chief Keith Sanders, and Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Adam Forrand.

“We’re thrilled to continue LGE’s growth in north Fulton County with our new Sandy Springs branch,” says Leggett. “Convenient branch locations are just one of the many ways LGE continues to provide members with exceptional service and value.”

In the spirit of the credit union philosophy of “people helping people,” the LGE Community Outreach Foundation presented a $1,000 donation to the Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund, a nonprofit organization designed to help law enforcement officers and their families in times of crisis.

The Sandy Springs branch is managed by Lisa Reynolds, who has been with LGE since 2019. Katie Bowling is LGE's north Fulton County business development officer, serving the Alpharetta, Roswell, and Sandy Springs branches.
