Lincoln County Credit Union Makes Huge Donation To Troy Chamber Of Commerce

After years of providing local businesses with guidance and visibility, the Troy Chamber of Commerce has now asked local businesses for help. Mike Lidgett, Troy Chamber President, believes the city of Troy could use economic stimulus.

Beginning 2025, the Troy Chamber hopes to deliver various productions including a summertime concert series called, “Rockin’ in Roosevelt Park”. A concert series will bring more people to the city of Troy, adding more revenue to expand on community-centered programs. This was expressed in a flyer given to businesses when issuing membership renewal.

Seeing an opportunity to support the community, Lincoln County Credit Union has already donated $20,000 to jumpstart the project. When asked about this generous donation, Lindsay Beaty, President of Lincoln County Credit Union said,

"We were thrilled to hear of plans for economic growth in Troy. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is our sole purpose to serve our members. What better way to do so, than to give the community the tools they need to thrive."

This donation will fully fund the event stage and allow Lincoln County Credit Union to be the stage sponsor. We’re excited to see this project develop into something great for our community and you can find more information about this plan from Troy’s Chamber of Commerce at www.troymtchamber.org.
