Maine Credit Union League and Synergent Board Appoints Industry Veteran Cris Wescott as Interim President/CEO
Wescott replaces Todd Mason who will be leaving the organizations this summer.
The Maine Credit Union League and Synergent® Board of Directors has appointed Cris Wescott as Interim President/CEO. Wescott will fill the role previously held by Todd Mason, who is returning to his home state of Michigan later this summer. Wescott has over 36 years with the combined organizations and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
“Our Board is in full agreement that both organizations are in a very strong position financially and with respect to its leadership,” shared David Desjardins, Chair of the Maine Credit Union League and Synergent Board of Directors. “We have no doubts that Cris will build on Todd’s success and work alongside a tremendously talented leadership team to navigate a new path forward for the League and Synergent’s members and customers.”
With Mason set to depart the organizations later this summer, Wescott will work closely with him and the management team to ensure a smooth transition. A national executive search will commence within the next 30 to 60 days to find permanent leaders to oversee the Maine Credit Union League and Synergent independently. The Board hopes to make a hiring decision for each position by the end of the year or in early 2024.
In addition to Wescott, the Maine Credit Union League and Synergent’s Senior Leadership Team is comprised of Tyler Hudson, Chief Information Officer, and Scott Johnsen, Chief Relationship Officer.
