MDT Launches Project Management Consulting Services for Credit Unions

Fintech supports credit unions with staff augmentation and project management expertise

Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a CUSO that hosts the Symitar core processing system from Jack Henry™ to provide a private cloud alternative for core processing and IT needs, has launched Project Management Consulting Services, helping credit unions plan, implement and optimize critical initiatives across the institution. Through the offering, proven MDT experts support credit unions in managing project scope, cost, time and quality.

The core business of credit unions is to serve their membership, but many lack the resources and time to adequately staff and nurture project management skills. MDT is helping credit unions bridge this gap, offering MDT’s consulting and project management expertise to help more seamlessly roll out projects and enhance the skill sets of credit union staff.

Earlier this year, United Bay Community Credit Union was looking to implement a new phone system and tapped MDT’s Project Management Consulting Services for support. Diane Abbonizio, CEO of the credit union, said, “The experts at MDT helped us build a timeline, structure, task list, change management framework and additional elements required to effectively run a project. Not only was this initiative a success, but we walked away with the knowledge for how to more easily manage projects on our own, making us better and stronger.”

MDT’s Project Management Consulting Services help find ways for credit unions to increase efficiencies, streamline processes, augment staff and benefit from dedicated service and solutions. If other vendors are involved in the project’s scope, MDT will also work with them to fulfill project deliverables.

“Retaining full time project management expertise on staff is an expensive resource, but such skills can be critical to launching new projects or initiatives,” explained Dan Schneider, VP of Project Management & Implementations for MDT. “We deeply care about our clients’ success and want to help them not only effectively complete projects but gain the project management principles and tools that will help them move forward. We look forward to offering this service and support to our clients, helping them grow and succeed.”
