Miami Firefighters Federal Credit Union Selects Bryan S. Woodward As Their Next President/CEO

The Board of Directors of Miami Firefighters Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan S. Woodward as the credit union’s new President and CEO. “The board is delighted that Bryan has signed on as our new President and CEO”, says Terry Remland, MFFCU board chairperson. “Bryan has served credit unions in a number of executive capacities over the past two decades, most recently as the CEO of Hartford Firefighters Federal Credit Union in Hartford Connecticut. We look forward to benefitting from his diverse experience and skill sets as he leads our credit union through the growth and competitive challenges it will face over the next several years.” “I am honored and privileged to be offered this opportunity to join MFFCU and continue serving the Firefighter community,” said Woodward. “Having lived in Miami 20 years ago, I knew someday I would be moving back to this great city, and I am grateful that time has come. Joining a well-established Credit Union and sharing a vision with the BOD to see it grow into the future is an extremely motivating endeavor. Great things are yet to come.” Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Pace University in Pleasantville, New York and, during his years within the credit union sector, has served in the capacities of CLO, CIO, COO and CEO. Importantly, Bryan comes to MFFCU already fully acquainted with the unique culture of our field of membership.
