Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union Hires Bob Gerads as Next President and Chief Executive Officer

Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Bob Gerads as the credit union’s new President/Chief Executive Officer.

“I know I speak for the rest of the board when I say we are overjoyed to welcome Bob to Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union (MMFCU),” said Theresa Goble, Chair of the Board of Directors. “We are very proud of how far we’ve come as an organization through our 66-year history, and we are excited about the opportunity of continued success with Bob leading the way. We knew Bob’s vision aligned with our own, and we are confident in his abilities and commitment to bringing world-class service and care to our members.” Mrs. Goble also commended outgoing CEO, Chuck Albrecht, on his leadership and service to MMFCU. “On behalf of the Board, we want to sincerely thank Chuck for everything he has done to make us a stronger organization and the leadership he has shown our team. We wish him a very happy and healthy retirement.”

Bob joins MMFCU with nearly 25 years of experience in banking and credit union management and operations, most recently with Falcon National Bank where he served as Chief Deposit Officer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Management from Moorhead State University (now Minnesota State University Moorhead).

“As Chief Executive Officer, I will strive to create strategic partnerships, and build a collaborative environment committed to delivering an outstanding member experience through each of our delivery channels,” Bob commented on the vision for his new role. “I am humbled and excited about this next chapter of my career. I am eager to build on the traditions of Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union and continue the commitment to serving the full financial needs of our members.”
