Minnequa Works Credit Union Supports Breast Cancer Awareness with October Campaign Benefiting Dorcy Cancer Center and St. Mary Corwin Health Foundation

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Minnequa Works Credit Union is launching a special community initiative to support local breast cancer patients and their families. For the entire month of October, Minnequa Works will donate $50 to the Dorcy Cancer Center and St. Mary Corwin Health Foundation for every new member account opened with an active checking account.

The Dorcy Cancer Center, a renowned local facility, provides comprehensive cancer care and support to individuals and families across Southern Colorado. Through this initiative, Minnequa Works Credit Union is proud to stand in support of the Dorcy Cancer Center in the fight against breast cancer.

“As a community-focused credit union, Minnequa Works is committed to making a positive impact where it matters most—right here at home,” said Nathan Cape, CEO at Minnequa Works Credit Union. “This initiative is not only about supporting breast cancer awareness but also about empowering our members to be a part of something larger. We believe in the power of community, and together we can make a difference for those affected by cancer in our community.”

How It Works:

  • For every new member account opened with an active checking account, Minnequa Works will donate $50 to the Dorcy Cancer Center.

  • The campaign runs from October 1 to October 31, 2024.

  • All donations will directly support the Dorcy Cancer Center and St. Mary Corwin Health Foundation in their efforts in providing treatment and resources to breast cancer patients and their families.

Minnequa Works invites all members of the community to participate in this initiative by opening a new member account and joining a credit union that’s committed to being the local difference for Southern Colorado.
