NCUA and CDFI Hosting Nov. 8 Webinar on Small Dollar Lending Program

Credit unions interested in the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund Small Dollar Loan Program can get valuable information on a Nov. 8 webinar hosted by CDFI and the National Credit Union Administration.

Online registration for this webinar, “The CDFI Fund’s Small Dollar Loan Program for Credit Union Applicants, is now open. The webinar is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern and run approximately 60 minutes.

CDFI Fund associate program manager Julie Sandler and Amy Apitz, management and program analyst at the Fund, will discuss how CDFI-certified credit unions use award funds to help unbanked and underbanked members build credit, acquire affordable capital, and gain greater access to the mainstream financial system.

A credit union must be CDFI-certified to apply for this program or be a co-applicant with a CDFI certified institution.

The webinar will be close captioned, and there is no charge. Participants will be able to log in and view the event on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.
