NCUA Express: Register Now for NCUA’s August 21 DEI Webinar

The National Credit Union Administration will host a webinar on August 21 highlighting the importance of a DEI strategic plan and the tools to enhance DEI in the workplace.

Online registration for this webinar, “Sustain DEI Through Your DEI Strategic Plan, Part 2” is now open. The webinar is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Easternand is expected to run until 2:30 p.m.

Natasha Hewlett Mann, NCUA Credit Union Diversity Program Manager, will host the webinar. Dr. Mary Clisbee, CEO Tellus Mater International, and Jim Pfautz, Chief Solutions Architect, Tellus Mater International, are guest speakers.

A DEI strategic plan can help an organization make the most of its diversity by creating an inclusive, equitable mixture of differences and similarities. Participants will acquire the latest tools, techniques, and theories to build an effective strategic plan that will incorporate DEI in regular work practices and behaviors. The session will focus on the world of neuroscience, linguistics, psychology, and organizational development.

This webinar will be close captioned, and there is no charge. Participants will be able to log in and view the event on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.
