Payments Education Abounds at Vizo Financial’s 2024 Virtual Payments Conference

Vizo Financial is bringing payments education front and center for credit unions during its virtual 2024 Payments Conference on November 5-6, 2024, which will feature expert speakers from a variety of payment-related organizations.

“There’s a lot happening in the payments industry — from changes in wire processing and developments in instant payments to fraud concerns with all the different payment rails — there is no shortage of information credit unions need to be aware of,” said Jaime Agostino, VP of sales, marketing and education for Vizo Financial. “That’s why we knew we needed to include sessions that would provide attendees with insights into the latest payment technologies and trends, as well as some strategies they could use to not only incorporate these innovations at their institution, but also mitigate the risks that are associated with them.”

Some of the sessions for the 2024 Payments Conference include:

  • Logical Friction in Electronic Payments - Controlling Error and Fraud in Electronic Payments – Presented by Macha/PAR

  • Managing the Risk of Instant Payments: RTP® and the FedNow® Service – Presented by the Payments Professor

  • Walking the Wire: Wire Transfer Strategy and Fraud Mitigation – Presented by EPCOR

  • 2024 ACH Rules Update – Presented by The Clearing House Payments Authority

“The ultimate goal of this year’s conference, as with every payments conference we host, is to help credit unions stay competitive within the financial industry,” said Agostino. “By providing them with  relevant, real-world information, they can continue to meet the evolving payment needs of their members, and we’re confident that we’ll be able to do just that,” said Agostino.
