PRINCE GEORGE’S COMMUNITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION APPOINTS DIANE COLEMAN BROWN AS NEXT CEO

Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union (PGCFCU), a community-focused financial institution, announced today the appointment of Diane Coleman Brown as its new Chief Executive Officer effective October 1, 2023. Coleman Brown will replace Robert Schroeder, who has recently announced that he will retire after 11 years of exemplary service.

Coleman Brown, currently the Chief Operating Officer, brings over 40 years of experience in the financial services sector and a wealth of knowledge to the role. Throughout her distinguished career, she has held various executive positions and has served on numerous boards.

Diane’s leadership and her dedication to the credit union movement and our members make her the best candidate to move this organization forward. Her achievements and leadership align with our mission of financially empowering our community. As the first African-American female CEO, Diane brings a unique perspective that will inspire great change within our community and the financial industry,” stated PGCFCU Board Chairman, Darryl Jones.

Coleman Brown states, “It is a great honor to step into this role. For over 55 years this organization has thrived in helping people and businesses attain their financial goals. I am deeply committed to continuing this tradition and cultivating an atmosphere of education, growth and opportunity for the members of this community. My goal is to enhance our financial services, build stronger partnerships and create lasting value for all stakeholders.”
