PSCU/Co-op Solutions Provides Erie Federal Credit Union with Card Processing Services and Support

PSCU/Co-op Solutions, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, proudly announces its collaboration with Erie Federal Credit Union (Erie FCU) to provide debit and credit card processing services and support.

Established in 1936, Erie FCU has been a cornerstone in providing exceptional financial products to the communities of Erie and Crawford County, Pennsylvania. With more than 76,000 members and over $779 million in assets, Erie FCU is steadfast in its mission to responsibly deliver a range of financial services to meet the needs of its membership.

The strategic choice to work with PSCU was rooted in Erie FCU's efficiency-forward goal of streamlining both debit and credit card processing on a single vendor’s unified platform. Following a rigorous vetting process in 2022, the credit union found its ideal partner in PSCU, citing its size, future growth plans and trusted track record of service to other credit unions. The alignment of these factors solidified the CUSO as Erie FCU’s preferred solutions provider to help facilitate exceptional cardholder experiences through best-in-class service and technology.

"Taking on the challenge of two conversions in one year, PSCU's team made the process as seamless and member-centric as possible, with quick responses to avoid disruptions,” said Erie FCU Chief Marketing Officer Tom Brennan. “This partnership led to our credit union gaining operational efficiencies and offering our members industry-leading card products and services, including the latest security features and contactless payments.”

Erie FCU formalized the agreement with PSCU in August 2022. The credit card conversion took place in May 2023, followed by the debit card conversion in August 2023.

“We are proud to collaborate with Erie FCU to deliver advanced card processing solutions that will further elevate the experiences of their valued members,” said PSCU/Co-op Solutions EVP, Chief Growth Officer Brian Scott. “Following a successful conversion process in 2023, we are excited to strengthen our relationship and contribute to their continued growth and success.”
