Royal Credit Union Celebrates Credit Union Youth Month
Royal Credit Union (Royal) is celebrating Credit Union Youth Month this April. Getting a head start on financial literacy is essential for young Members so they can grow into adults who are confident in their finances. Royal serves as a resource for families as they begin to teach their kids financial responsibility and the importance of financial literacy. If you have been wondering how to empower your kids to save for their future, this is a great opportunity to start!
Here are the ways Royal is celebrating in April:
All Royal Members 12 years old and under are automatically enrolled in Kid’s Club, which makes them eligible for prizes and invitations to exclusive Kid’s Club events. During the month of April, any new savings account opened for children 12 years old and younger will have the initial $5.00 deposited by Royal. Only one savings account per person is allowed. Starting April 8, Kid’s Club Members can visit any Royal location to sign up to win a Credit Union Youth Month gift basket. Winners will be announced and contacted the week of April 22. Kid’s Club Members earn stamps when they make a deposit and can redeem stamps for prizes. From April 15 to April 20, all Kid’s Club Members will receive double stamps during “Double Stamp Week.” Fun coloring pages will also be available at offices throughout the month.
