SDCCU Partners with Rancho Coastal Humane Society to Help Place Special Needs Pets
SDCCU Furever Friends connects animals with loving families
San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, has partnered with Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS) to help find loving homes for harder to place animals. The SDCCU Furever Friends program will spotlight dogs and cats with special needs being cared for by RCHS and help connect them with local families. Details at sdccu.com/petadoption.
The animals featured in the Furever Friends program will typically be older, long-term residents of RCHS, or have specific needs that require particular attention or a more seasoned adopter. Oftentimes, these animals are overlooked in shelters for a variety of reasons although they are ideal pets for the right person.
“We are excited to partner with Rancho Coastal Humane Society to help generate awareness for these wonderful animals patiently awaiting their forever homes,” said Teresa Campbell, SDCCU president and CEO. “We encourage those who are looking for a new family member to consider one of the incredible pets featured in the Furever Friends program.”
“Rancho Coastal Humane Society is thrilled to partner with SDCCU in the new Furever Friends program. Some of the pets in our kennels are here longer, just because their families haven’t found them yet,” said Judi Sanzo, president and CEO of Rancho Coastal Humane Society. “Through Furever Friends, SDCCU will bring extra attention to adoptable pets with special needs that may require a larger audience than the shelter can provide. We believe that this spotlight will help these Furever Friends find their Furever homes.”
