Serve Credit Union Announces Jennifer Adkisson as New COO

Jennifer Adkisson has been named the new Chief Operations Officer of Serve Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative founded in the “people helping people” spirit in 1931. 

As COO, Adkisson will assist CEO Jami Weems in the overall management and strategic direction of the credit union. Bringing 20 years of collective experience in the credit union and financial services industries, she will work in all credit union operations, which include planning, recommending, implementing programs and policies and providing general administrative direction.  

“As a familiar face in the credit union industry, we are excited to welcome Jen to the Serve family,” said Weems. “Jen brings not only the expertise to help our credit union continue to serve our members, she also brings her passion for the industry and her willingness to go the extra mile to help others.”

Prior to Serve, Adkisson spent nearly 10 years at ViClarity supporting credit unions with regulatory compliance and 10 years with various local financial institutions. In those roles, she worked with credit unions and helped them fulfill their missions of improving the financial lives of members.

Adkisson graduated from Buena Vista University with a bachelor's degree in business management and finance, and has received a NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer certification with NAFCU.
