Space Coast Credit Union opens latest branch in Brevard County, celebrates grand opening

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) announces the opening of its new branch, Summer Brook, in Melbourne. The 920 square-foot branch expands SCCU’s footprint to 22 branches throughout Brevard County and adds 5 new jobs for the region, expanding the credit union’s total Team Members in Brevard County to more than 620.

“SCCU is committed to delivering convenient service to our membership by providing physical locations in the communities where they live and work. We know access to digital banking is important to our members, which we provide, but recognize there are times when they need quick access to personal interaction” says Timothy M. Antonition, president and CEO of Space Coast Credit Union. “Our newest drive-thru branch provides members another convenient location to get the assistance they need from Team Members they can trust.”

The branch, located at 4745 N. Wickham Rd. in Melbourne, Florida, features drive-thru banking services Monday through Saturday and a 24-hour deposit-taking drive-up ATM. This is the first drive-thru-focused concept throughout the 66-branch footprint and is supported by three branches with full-service lobbies within 6 miles of Summer Brook.

SCCU will commemorate the grand opening of Summer Brook with an event on July 19. Attendees can meet the new branch staff and win prizes, including gift cards to local businesses.
