Sherrodd joined SLFCU in January of 2022 with more than 25 years of credit union experience, coming from Houston, TX, where she served as President and CEO for Texas Dow Employees Credit Union from 2012 to 2021, helping to grow the organization to assets of over $4 billion with 345,000 members. “It’s an honor to be named alongside so many other incredible women leaders,” said Sherrodd. “I take tremendous pride in leading SLFCU on its journey to redefine the cooperative spirit in finance, and to provide better banking options across the Southwest.”
“I’ve worked for numerous leaders that invested in me and helped prepare me to be an effective CEO,” Sherrodd continued. “Talent and culture are key strategic differentiators for SLFCU, and it’s a personal priority to provide the same types of development opportunities I had, and to play an active role in developing the next generation of diverse leaders.”
