TDECU, Houston’s largest credit union, demonstrated its commitment to expanding its presence to better serve its Members with the groundbreaking of a new Member Center in Port Lavaca on July 23, 2024.

The not-for-profit’s current Member Center is the third-busiest in TDECU’s west market but also one of the smallest. The new Member Center, located at 119 State Highway 35 South, will feature a 2,533-square-foot financial center, two drive-thru lanes, and drive-up and walk-up ATMs. It will provide a full range of financial services, including personal banking, business banking, mortgage services and financial planning.

“We are thrilled to bring a new state-of-the-art Member Center to Port Lavaca, where some of our longest and most loyal Members live,” said Josh Brian, SVP Gulf Market President. “This new facility represents our dedication to supporting the incredible growth in the Golden Crescent region. TDECU has a bright future and we are excited that Port Lavaca is a key part of it.”

This development follows the successful opening of the Victoria Navarro Member Center in late 2023. The Port Lavaca member center is expected to open its doors to members in early 2025.
