The Cooperative Credit Union Association Introduces Mortgage Academy Discount for Member Credit Unions in Four States

The Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) announces an exclusive new discount for its member credit unions on the Mortgage Academy, an innovative online training program powered by MemberClose. As a co-owner of MemberClose in partnership with Pivot Lending Group, CCUA’s Cooperative Education team is dedicated to offering valuable educational resources and professional development opportunities to its members.

Credit unions in Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island now have access to this comprehensive virtual course, designed to equip credit union professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to excel in the mortgage industry. Through this initiative, CCUA aims to enhance the capabilities of its members, ensuring they can provide top-tier mortgage services to their communities.

"Our joint-ownership of MemberClose allows the CCUA to offer unique and impactful programs like the Mortgage Academy to our members," said Melissa Pomeroy, EVP and Chief Operating Officer at CCUA. "This virtual training program underscores our cooperative commitment to the professional growth of our credit unions, empowering them with the tools and expertise needed to succeed in an evolving financial landscape."

To celebrate the launch of this program, CCUA member credit unions will enjoy special pricing for the remainder of 2024 when enrolling in the Mortgage Academy.

- $499 per learner for individual enrollments

- Volume Discount: $399 per learner when enrolling five or more participants.

The program, normally valued at $995 per person, covers a wide range of essential topics, including mortgage lending fundamentals, compliance, underwriting, and member service excellence. By participating in the Mortgage Academy, credit union professionals gain practical insights and hands-on experience, encouraging them to drive growth within their organizations.

"We are credit union professionals, which is why MemberClose and CCUA collaborated to create the Mortgage Academy built specifically for credit unions," said Aimee Morin, Director of Business Operations and Association Services at CCUA, who leads Cooperative Education. "The 8-module progression allows learners to resume their training, enabling staff to learn without compromising current member service."
