Velera Partners with BrightStar Credit Union to Provide Credit and Debit Card Processing

Velera – formerly PSCU/Co-op Solutions, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider – is pleased to announce its partnership with BrightStar Credit Union to offer card processing solutions, providing an enhanced cardholder experience for its members and employees.

BrightStar Credit Union services nearly 60,000 members across the South Florida community and holds over $870 million assets. Headquartered in Hollywood, Florida, BrightStar offers a variety of financial services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, credit cards and online banking.

During its search for an ideal card processing partner, BrightStar sought out an organization that not only met its technical requirements of providing seamless, secure payments experiences, but one that also shares its values and mission of delivering outstanding service to its members. Following a thorough search, BrightStar chose to partner with Velera due to its commitment to innovation, service and reliability.

Velera began providing credit card processing support in June 2024 and will add debit card processing services in September 2024.
