Vizo Financial Makes a Difference with 2024 Community Initiatives

As a result of its 2024 community initiatives, Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union made a notable difference in the communities surrounding its Columbia, S.C.; Greensboro, N.C.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Middletown, Pa. locations.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals & Victory Junction

Vizo Financial has supported both Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals and Victory Junction for many years, and 2024 was no exception. This year, the Corporate showed their support for the organizations by sponsoring, hosting and/or participating in the following events:

• Carolinas Cup for Victory Junction in Randleman, N.C.

• CMN Hospitals Telethon for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pa.

• CMN Hospitals Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham, N.C.

Vizo Financial’s sponsorships, commitments and fundraising contributed more than $37,500 for these two organizations in 2024.

In response to Hurricane Helene and the damage it caused across the Carolinas, Vizo Financial hosted a donation and food drive at its two locations in the Carolinas. The Corporate also donated $20,000 to the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund to assist credit union employees and volunteers in the Carolinas.

“It’s always exciting to look back on the year and see just how much we were able to accomplish with our community initiatives and how many organizations we were able to impact,” said Erin Doan, Vizo Financial’s VP of administration. “Throughout 2024, we had the pleasure of supporting a lot of great organizations, and I’m excited to see what community-forward things we’ll be able to do in 2025.”

In total, 58 employees donated over 479 hours of volunteer time to a variety of organizations by utilizing their community volunteer leave. Furthermore, during Vizo Financial’s Day of Service on October 14, 116 employees supported nine organizations that serve the local communities of Vizo Financial staff.

“At Vizo Financial, we hold true to our commitment to support local organizations within our communities, and our 2024 community initiatives reflect that,” said Fred Eisel, president/CEO of Vizo Financial. “Not only did we continue to support organizations like Victory Junction and CMN Hospitals this year, but we also helped support states that were devastated by Hurricane Helene. In addition, many of our employees donated their time to volunteer at reality fairs and organizations within their local communities through the use of their community volunteer leave. I’m so proud of all the support we’ve been able to give through our community involvement efforts in 2024, and we can’t wait to do more in 2025.”
