VyStar Credit Union Announces Endless Summer Grand Prize Winner

VyStar Credit Union is excited to announce the grand prize winner of its Endless Summer Sweepstakes. The campaign, which ran June 19 through midnight, Aug. 13, provided members with chances to win special VIP experiences as well as a grand prize of 3 million points ($30,000 in cash value). All current VyStar credit card holders, including business credit card users, were automatically entered over eight weeks for a chance to win every time they made a qualifying purchase with their card.

The winners were randomly chosen from everyone who participated by using their credit card or by sending a mail-in entry. The grand prize winner of the 3 million points is Amy P., a schoolteacher from Nassau County. Amy was notified by her VyStar Branch Manager and said when she got the call, she did not believe it at first,” she said. “I have been a VyStar member for over 40 years, and to win $30,000, it was surreal. We just had to buy a new car, so this will really help with the cost of that.”

The winners of the eight VIP experiences selected at random from Jacksonville to the Central Florida area were able to choose from the following prize options:

The Jumbo Shrimp “Suite Life VIP Experience, which includes: four suite tickets; one parking pass and Jumbo Shrimp merchandise.  The Ringling Brothers Circus “Suite Life VIP Experience” at the VyStar Veteran’s Memorial Arena, which includes: four suite tickets, one parking pass and circus merchandise. The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts “VIP Experience in Orlando,” which includes: four tickets to a show of their choice, a merchandise pack, a $100 Uber gift card and a $250 Visa® gift card for food and concessions. The Savannah Ghost Pirates “VIP Experience, includes: four tickets to any game during the 2023-2024 season; one parking pass; Ghost Pirates merchandise; and a $200 Visa gift card for food and concessions.

“The Endless Summer Sweepstakes was meant to celebrate and reward the loyalty of our members,” said Kris Carrera, VyStar Credit Union's Senior Vice President, Payments. “We were so excited to meet our deserving winner of the 3 million points. We learned that as a teacher, Amy often purchases school supplies for students using her own money, and we are so happy that we could provide her with these extra funds to help with her family expenses. We are thrilled not only for all the participants who won these amazing prizes but for everyone who is receiving all the added benefits of being a VyStar Visa Signature Rewards credit card holder.”
